ZMF's right again. When the episode ended, I said, "Wow, Vic just owned the entire United States government."

Ladies, ladies
How funny that this AVTalk is from two of the few females on the AVC staff. I guess even "handsome, dreamy vampires" are too gay even for the AVC ladyboys.

I'm sure they will. AVC has a pretty good history of doing a wide range of games. I'm pretty excited for a new Animal Crossing.

"What would you call that?"
"A potato."

Feelings about Pink
"So What" as a song is basically how I feel about Pink as a whole. Half pretty annoying, half not so bad. All the "na na na" and the verses are pretty terrible, but come on, that chorus is rockin'. Same with her as a performer: just when I'm about to write her off, there's something that's just

24 is an action show, not a serious drama. The Shield is a drama with some action. Jack Bauer hasn't changed, and probably won't change, but Vic Mackey has to change and adapt himself.

Spider abortions got the biggest laugh from me. However, I'm glad to see that the AV Club and I are on the same page, because I thought "that's what she said" about a second before the dude in the video said it.

Bacon infused vodka, anyone? I understand it goes well with Jon Hamm's John Ham.

I thought this episode was great. The stuff with Michael and Holly completely broke my heart. Especially when Michael decides not to even stay that weekend. Holly's worth quitting and moving to New Hampshire.

Hostel is by far the better movie. It's not "let's watch people get mutilated for the sake of being mutilated." Hostel has an actual story, and the gore serves to raise the stakes and threaten the characters. This is true in both the first and second movies.

At the Alamo Bowl or the Alamo Drafthouse? I know that the Drafthouse's T-shirt branch, Mondo Tees, has been selling these kinds of shirts for a while now.

True that. Ronnies totally gotten shit on throughout the series. He got half is face burned off, and now an arm mauled by a pit bull? Maybe he and Cassidy will run off together to Mexico.

Peter's age
Oh, forgot something. So Peter's talking to the kids like they couldn't know anything about the 50s, but, by the same token, how could Peter? He'd have to be over 60 to remember 50s things like "hamburgers, fries, and shakes."

Not a single KOTH comment yet?
Personally, I loved King of the Hill last night. It's still the most consistently good show of the lineup. Not to mention it being a perfect sendup of the hypocrisy of most "environmentalists." Not quite as good as the one where Hank works at the grocery co-op, but still pretty good.

Glass maker
Wait, so the master European glass maker's last name is Glass??

Video instead
I really love listening to these talks that you guys have, but I can't really remember who's who after the introductions. (Aside from Tasha, since she's the only female voice.) Any chance of you guys doing video instead? I think it'd make it easier to follow people's positions.

FYI, someone earlier cited that 50% of the film is directly attacking Scientology. I got to go to a screening, and it's more like 4 minutes of the film saying the same stuff that South Park said. It's not even a substantial part of the movie. (And, believe me, the vileness of Scientology could fill an entire

Pretty good point you're making. I'm thankful that Lost picked up Daniel Dae Kim (good luck with that boat, Jin), because he's a talented guy that seemed unable to find footing.

Ugh, Happy Days
Man, you can really tell when Happy Days went down the tube when they guest-starred Oprah.
