Really, they got over their baby being kidnapped and trained to be a time traveling assassin way too quickly. That thing at the end when Amy was like, "tell River to visit some time" or something? Not an appropriate emotional response to the giant mess of crazy that happened just episodes ago.

I don't think that there's really a good explanation for why the TARDIS decided to go to space labyrinth. It was at least strongly implied that they were brought there because of Amy's faith, but that doesn't really work because if the minotaur/keepers of the minotaur just wanted someone else for the minotaur to eat…
