I was bummed too, @avclub-cc8a3570c64524493cfb86da33327fa9:disqus , but I've come to accept it. Now, I feel like like St. Augustine of Hippo after his conversion by Ambrose of Milan.

See the first comment.

Fat chance, Pops!

Dearest Nathan,

They should just get one of these things as the permanent replacement; you'd have extra time to go see Honk If You're Horny, Todd!

The Knicks making the Finals that year was ridiculous @avclub-97b2d5e5f92c333976018236d76658d9:disqus .

Finale.

Now we play "The Waiting Game"…

If only the Knicks and Pacers had a sports rivalry that could be referenced!

I think you're totally right, @Beelzebot:disqus .  I love the AV Club; I've been reading since the early 2000's and will probably still check out what's going on around here but, to me, Nabin, Noel, Tobias, Tasha, Phipps and the rest are the AV Club. They made this place what it was and the consistency of voice over

You are in luck…comes out this June.

Agreed.  I first saw it when I was visiting family with middle school aged kids, around the time it was released.  I started watching it with them, somewhat grudgingly, thinking I was being nice, and by the end I think I was enjoying it more than anyone in the room. A real pleasant surprise.

"The Rabin Family Smile-Time Variety Hour"

If those were your goals for this column, I'd say you can consider yourself a Not-So-Secret Success.

Rabin: We'll go to Australia…they speak English in Australia.
Noel: Nice beaches…and the comment sections are easy, ripe and luscious.

I always appreciated that it was a cut above just 'hatewatching'.  He always put in the work to provide context around the release, the production, the execution, the intentions, the reception and all the factors there-in that went into the Flop.  It rarely felt like it was bagging on something just because it sucked;

I'm going to miss Nathan and Noel's reports covering Sundance … miss them covering it for the AV Club, at least.

Andy Barker, P.I.

It’s hard to watch Moment By Moment in 2013 and not secretly see it as the story of a middle-aged lesbian who gets her groove back by having mind-blowing sex with her gay son.
