This week I'm looking forward to the Cascara Quad, which I hope combines my two favorite things, beer and coffee, in an interesting way.

There was a story - lost in the mists of time - of two av club commenters meeting and falling in love on the AV Club.  Don't remember the handles BUT, they posted a nice little story about it and everything.  Make friends.

Guess, I've met too many people (largely the same people who think Liar's Poker is a how-to guide, not a cautionary tale) who think Patrick Bateman is some kind of hero. They acknowledge the satire and are in on Ellis' joke (more or less), but still come away thinking that soulless consumerism is a good thing.
