Ok, let's have some frank talk about Yes:

TELL ME WHY!

Their show in Boston on Sunday was stupidly great.

Then! We'll have a party!
Then! We'll have a party!
Then! We'll have a party!
Rock 'n' rollin' 'til the break of dawn!

The ones that Johnny wrote, maybe. But there's nothing bad on the first four albums.

It sounds weird, especially with the way Dylan pronounces 'water.' I always felt he was talking about the 'ladder of success' and how it was symbolically covered with water so that many who climb it will keep slipping down.

Is there gas in the car? Yes, there's gas in the car.

Wow. They should have put that in Walk The Line.

CRANSTON! IMPRISONING ME! ALL THAT I SEE! ABSOLUTE OSCARS!

I'm grateful for We Are The World because it gave birth to one of the Ramones' best videos:

Can someone who understands things explain why there is always lag-time in these intellectual property lawsuits? Ted came out in 2012 and the lawsuit emerges now?

Beat me to it, and wrote it better than I would've.

I couldn't make it past 25 minutes. Dull. No laughs. Plus, as a teacher, you can't whack kids on the head the way he does when he's escorting his kiddos on a field trip through Drew's office.

He's got a tub, baby, for a mouth!

I can't imagine teachers still doing this. I had one that did, around the same age. Seems like a social relic.

Reminds me on Roy Orbison, visually. Dark sunglasses.

I mostly enjoyed it, but almost threw it across the room when I hit these lines: "So how many of the damn things are there in Boston?" Clay asked. "What's the market penetration?" King has a dead ear for dialogue that's plagued a fair amount of his writing.

Hi, I came down here to write this. Thank you.

Christ, whatta hassle. Regarding Justice: I bought it the week of its release, and the consensus at the time was that it wasn't as good as the first three. Now it gets grandfathered in with the first three as part of the classic phase.

My problem with Justice is the cruddy, thin tone that Kirk gets from ESP guitars.
