Hopefully Vaughan's work on Under the Dome will attract more attention to his other projects.  I guess he wrote a script when the film was in active development.

It's definitely bland, but I think that's the sort of family show that will lead to more tolerance, especially since they just did an episode where a traditionally Catholic couple expressed their support of Lena and Stef.

I haven't gotten into that show, though I know Marlee Matlin has been on it and is a producer.  I really enjoy her work.

I enjoy seeing how the "likes" on comments criticizing POC are often anonymous.

@avclub-b833bdfd29ffbdf069ec2db478095059:disqus Wait, you don't think POC should be allowed to criticize Eastwood and Tarantino's problematic portrayals of "ethnic" characters?  Did you see Gran Torino?  All the Asians rolling their eyes at his racist talk does not a condemnation of bigotry make.  And as much as I

Fuck, When the Levees Broke is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen.  I generally like Lee's films, but I have no interest in funding his Kickstarter.

I feel like all the ones I would have considered donating to have disappeared since I started working full time again.  Now it's just celebrities like Zosia Mamet who can obviously afford to do shit themselves.

Where is my fucking Runaways movie?  Even if I know they'd fuck up Xavin, I want my fabulous trans heroine on the big screen.

I really enjoy the show, but I cannot imagine ever putting it in league with Seinfeld.  It's like the Cook's champagne to Seinfeld's Dom Perignon.

Dave as the mailman was fucking amazing.

Ugh, a friend keeps insisting it got better, but I fear Kaling has burned me once before.  Also, I don't know if I have time to watch another possibly good show.

You need a hug and a drink, @avclub-6258e285eeb51b21d01ffe9cb9f9c1d1:disqus ?

You pissed in the TV God's eye, and she blinked.

Well-said.  I hope we at least get a DVD set.

I would say you should watch it, but I know some people hate Gilmore Girls, and if that's the case for you, you should probably avoid it, you Philistine, you.

They suck in a lot of ways, but I admire how inclusive they are with gay characters.  Watching The Fosters after a long day at work makes me feel pleasantly cheesy and nerdy.

Same here.

I think so, but after seeing that cutaway once, I just automatically change the channel if it comes on again.

It's at a nonprofit theater in Los Angeles, the Cinefamily.  Same day James Urbaniak is apparently going to be there to talk about Vine.

I'm curious to know if it'll be recorded as well.  I'm working on an analysis of Stamotopoulos's stop motion work that I plan to integrate into my master's thesis, and it would be awesome if I didn't have to rely on notes scribbled in the dark.
