Only the ones that involve heroin.
Only the ones that involve heroin.
@LiberalCollegeFreshman:disqus No, I thought someone on here mentioned that he had attached an album to McDonald's value meals in an effort to technically increase sales.
They're both awful. I think Wanda Sykes did the best rape joke, in that it was a joke about the value of women in society. As a survivor, I tend to be really offended by "rape is funny" humor, but I will admit to horrified-laughing at one on Archer, Ron Howard raping himself on Frankenhole, and the "Jingle…
@avclub-d4ab2732ed8ac6a4b2d9734cf4c851d2:disqus I think "Blame Game" is one of the most depressing songs ever, and I kind of think it's supposed to be.
@avclub-f73c955e2c1f51451a682f5c1ce0e867:disqus I really need to keep up on my musician-related clothing news.
Didn't Garth Brooks also do something like that?
@kenmunson:disqus I suppose I don't have a problem with writing about failed relationships, but 808s and Heartbreak deals with the ex issues with far more tact and class than I've heard in any Taylor Swift song (granted, most of what I've heard from her is off Red). I just find Swift's "she's known for what she does…
I think that was before she called Tina Fey mean.
I don't know what you're talking about specifically, but if it's in relation to his white tees, that was an especially stupid move on his part, but not unexpected when you consider that even Giuliana Rancic has a fashion line.
Most likely. I don't recall him badmouthing his exes or slutshaming said exes later significant others though.
I agree, but that song has brought me much mirth for the lines, "I'm gonna disrobe you, then Imma probe you."
I'm sure I've mentioned this before somewhere on this website, but the first and third Saw films are easily the best, and I have a soft spot for the third one because Shawnee Smith's story helped me deal with my own mental health issues. So, long story short, I have a lot of respect for Wan. He's yet to disappoint…
@avclub-f8665a36d5a911922da81a12443887ed:disqus I think Hollywood has a different idea of "beloved" than normal people, much less readers, do. I'm honestly surprised they haven't turned "universally loved" Andrew Davidson's The Gargoyle into a Palahniuk lite film.
He's a crazy egomaniac, but in terms of music (and even personality), I'd take Kanye over Taylor Swift any day. As far as I know, he's never attached his albums to pizza in order to boost sales.
@avclub-eac75edc18b8546c46893fe4b75ab995:disqus It's especially fucked up that abortion plotlines are banned, but a rape joke every other episode is fine.
Honestly, in newer episodes, it's a miracle if one doesn't contain a rape joke. It was a while ago, but the Aquaman one still pisses me off.
@avclub-f079b53bcfcde2c125cc74ced47bfbcd:disqus In my experience, they're usually moobs.
@avclub-bce15e2b9a591aa1e4831894cf24fa5b:disqus I do, and look forward to comic book Wednesday a couple times a month, but reading trades of already established comics is a lower priority than the new issues of Saga and Fearless Defenders, and my current monster project, finishing Ulysses.
Aw, fuck, I forgot he was writing that with Tom Perrotta.
It makes me wonder how those people deal with watching movies in the theater or TV at home for that matter. "Goddammit, how can I pay attention to the image when I know there's a door there?"
