I can't remember the last time a new film was released on DVD in separate pan-and-scan and widescreen versions, and I thank the home video gods every day for that.

Now I know what to get my great aunt for Christmas!

It's only rated TV-MA if it's a nude beach.

Excellent point.  He was a giant vegetarian before it was cool.

Excellent point, and one of the reasons why I will never watch the Crank films.

Oh shit, apparently my memory of awful Family Guy jokes is worse than I thought.  I feel better already.

You're not an unhip rube.  You're the wind, baby.

I'm really curious to know if it's any good, but not curious enough to actually read it.

I guess Sudeikis has gotta pay child support somehow.

I think if it looked to have some unique aesthetic or humor beyond "hot chick and Asian grandfather," it might be interesting.  But it looks like every other dumb action comedy and will probably have more racist jokes than the comment section on a Chinese-related Newswire.

Seeing it a second time, as well as Red 2 because I am a completist, dammit.

"Millie" really did look like a heroin user without the fashionable "chic" writers frequently attribute to skinny girls.

I saw the trailer last weekend too, and was like, "Huh?  What beloved series is this based on?"  While I'm not particularly well-versed in scifi/fantasy novels, I have at least some cursory knowledge of seminal works thanks to some friends who almost exclusively read genre books.

But is there brownface in this film?

His vaguely "wacky" films have all been pretty safe in the past ten years.  Scoop and Midnight in Paris were really fucking dull, in my opinion.

I'd love to see Louie go to one of Allen's jazz performances, and then awkwardly try to strike up a conversation with him afterward.

Man, we never get advertising sculpture in Portland.  The closet thing we have is the Devil's Testicle.

I hate to nitpick- and I kind of hate myself for knowing this- but the "raping Marge" gag was a silent joke (à la "coming soon to Fox" images at the bottom of the screen), and the mass murder of the family was in a later episode, following consensual sex between Quagmire and Marge.

I never saw that divorced woman dates a 17 year old film she did.  Was it any good?

I can't remember if I've mentioned this here or not, but while inebriated, I told a friend that Lydia is the love child of Spencer Hastings and Mona Vanderwaal on Pretty Little Liars, and now I can't unsee it, no matter how sober I am.
