I really wish I could find Tangerine Dream soundtracks for reasonable prices.  My turntable is itching for Miracle Mile and Thief.

I knew there was a reason I stopped sleeping with men.

I only have enough AVC credits for a Leslie Knope Headline, but I really wanted a Shauna Malway-Tweed headline.

It's been a while since we had a good movie about Ren Faire folk.

I had no idea this was a real thing until I read this newswire.  Weird.

This makes me want to go home and read Vox.  I needed something to do with my evening.

Including the one Marc Cherry created!

It was just really unrealistic.  Yes, Whitney was supportive of her brother, but every transperson I've known has actually lived, dressed, and been called by their true identity prior to taking hormones or having surgery.  So like, yay for not being douchey about it?  But like, my friends said it made no sense?

Have there been any buck-toothed yellow cars yet?  Seems like Michael Bay might wanna get on that soon.

I think you'll like it.  It has beautiful cinematography, interesting family dynamics, and references to W. Somerset Maugham.

Considering my friend has told multiple people, I don't think he's concerned it's something he'd be in trouble for, but if you enjoy trying to guilt people, knock yourself out.

I kind of doubt a comment on a story about a dildo cake is going to reach anyone mentioned in it, but thanks for the sarcasm.

This newswire reminds me of a friend's recent anecdote: as John Cameron Mitchell's assistant, he is basically at JCM's side 24/7.  When he received his first Girls script, JCM called Lena Dunham to say it wasn't good enough.  He then rewrote it without credit, though presumably only the scenes in which he appeared.

@Scrawler2:disqus Her dainty little feet are extra fragilée.

The latter, I'd imagine, as these fairy tale reworkings seem made to cater to the largest demographic possible.  Would straight teen girls go see Ash? Probably not, and since there's no sex, straight dudes probably wouldn't either.  Speaking generally, of course.

Now I'm picturing Lily James's limbs as the leg lamp from A Christmas Story.

Marriage is for status and making babies, not having anything in common with your spouse.

Yeah, it's a classic. I really dig the girl who played Nastya.

The Russo-Finnish musical.  They made some weird, colorful fairy tale movies, all of which I watched in the span of a week in college.

I'd really love to see an adaptation of Malinda Lo's reworking of Cinderella, but I think it might be difficult to raise the funds for a period piece where the prince is basically irrelevant.
