What about Gong Li? Seriously, that woman is freakishly beautiful. And it's not just because Asian women supposedly age well (none of my relatives look like that). She probably bathes in the blood of virgins.
Sounds like the perfect next project for the producers of Jack Frost.
I hear the CW is working on one.
She'll be revered there!
I hope Milo Ventimiglia gets cast in this one too.
This sounds likely, unfortunately.
The Harder They Die
I'm kind of surprised he hasn't written a novella for Hard Case Crime yet. Unless maybe they can't afford to pay writers much. King seems to write for them out of love.
Was it for My Dark Places? I read that during Black Dahlia fever and was disturbed by Ellroy admitting a sexual attraction to his dead mother, then I looked at the cover and said, "He wasn't kidding…"

I read somewhere that Del Toro had originally planned The Strain as a screenplay, which explains some of the weak writing, at least on a technical level. I still enjoyed the story, but the books weren't great.
I still think he'll show up in some twist or shoehorned plot. I don't have much faith in the show anymore, but I doubt Paul Lieberstein would allow the show to end without calling in all his Carell favors.
I think you're giving the writers too much credit.
But they'll drag it out until it becomes The Walking Dead.
I agree. I can't watch good movies with commercials. I will, however, sit and watch He's Just Not That Into You on E! when I have nothing better to do.
I wouldn't say The Walking Dead is completely awful, just sort of middling. I think the backlash probably comes more from people being told repeatedly that it was great when it obviously isn't. Compared to Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Southland, and, I don't know, Justified, it's awful. Compared to AMC's other…
