Do you know how much restraint was required for him NOT to star in Get Smart?

Walking Dead fan here who only watches Cruise in P. T. Anderson films or movies also featuring Werner Herzog.  The latter only begrudgingly.

I think your "picks good ones" logic is flawed.  He was in Knight and Day, Rock of Ages, and Jack Reacher in recent years.

You seem like a reasonable person.

@avclub-eac75edc18b8546c46893fe4b75ab995:disqus Steve's definitely the most Nick-like of the AD characters.

"Hi, I'm Jessica McQuirky.  I teach children because I relate to them on an emotional and mental level.  I also enjoy long car rides to IKEA, singing 70s soul in a cutesy white girl voice, and having codependent relationships with the needy men I room with.  I've taken the liberty of preloading my theme song onto your

Ah, that show set in my hometown that people occasionally compared to Gilmore Girls.

I do kind of want to see Mouse and West hook up, but I hope the show takes its time to actually develop their grudging respect, friendship, and eventual romance.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's LUX?

I can see that too.

Smell of Success sounds like it might be worth checking out, if only for the curiosity, "what the huh?!" factor.  It also sounds exactly like the sort of film my eternally-drunk, very British lit professor would enjoy.  He once spent two hours lecturing about sheep shit.  He was super into my term paper on excrement

I'm not sure how it works either, but you can either message me your email address on tumblr (I'm deadpandolores there too), or my email's heartofstingray at gmail.  I'm not too worried about getting spam from AV Clubbers.

I think some shows do normal family relationships well, but for something outrageous like Hansel and Gretel, based on a fucked up fairy tale to begin with, there's no real depth to actually develop those relationships.  Unless my friends who did see the film missed something, it's just shallow, flashy, "edgy"

Has House of Cards found its way to…ah, less reputable internet sites?  If so, I'm guessing their other shows will as well.

Only A&E's ratings will tell.

It's not in high definition on Directv either.  Assholes.

There's gonna have to be a lot more awkward eating of pastries in the bathtub and eardrums being punctured for that.

I blame an adolescence spent reading V. C. Andrews.

High-five for being two pre-menstrual AV Clubbers!
