Not a religious man, but these books were pretty good as far as end of the world disaster type reading.  I burned through them (no pun intended), and while they didn't make me believe any more than I already did, they certainly make for a compelling read.

I second these emotions!  I can totally understand someone not liking it, but that someone is definitely not me or my friends who went to see it.  Was a perfect fit for the two leads.

Cam referred to Mitchell as his boyfriend in the episode when he was dressed as a clown at the gas station & Mitchell was getting harassed.  For them to have a kid together, I think boyfriend is less a natural choice & more ABC chickening out.

Out of all the shows I've seen (and admittedly, I have not seen many Brit sci-fi comedy shows), I'd say this one BEST captured the anti-logic, absurd sci-fi spirit of "Hitchhikers Guide".  If anyone has a different opinion, pls share what other shows I should be looking for :D
