The AV Club has really had it in for Jay McInerney for a long time, even though he hasn't been culturally relevant for 20 years. Nonetheless, I still think Bright Lights, Big City is a great book and no amount of hate is going to change my mind about that. The movie is solidly mediocre, though.

Lost Boys 2?
Where's the AV Club review of Lost Boys 2: The Tribe?

Palomar
How can you delete Palomar? They're a great band!

Wait a minute. I've only seen Leonard Cohen's tour schedule through August. How do you know where he's playing in October? I want tickets!

Um, the point he was trying to illustrate in that instance was that he was the only reporter around bothering to report on that particular bill, but that just wasn't the case. But he was in "Cloak and Dagger," so he's still my hero.

Thanks for the quick response! Someone should really look into that search bug, though.

Help!
This is the first time I've seen this feature. Intrigued to read more, I searched the AV Club for "Book vs. Film." Several results came up, but none of the articles are linked. How can I read past installments? Does it require a subscription or something?

Has anyone recommended "Destiny Turns on the Radio"? That thing was such a flop, I don't think it's even available on DVD.
