I thought A+'s weren't allowed on this site. What the hell is going on here?
Don't be cheap, buy this fucking album. Doesn't matter if it's the CD, vinyl, or digital. Just buy it. If you downloaded for free at least but a shirt or something. These people deserve your money.
I liked GSNT but I was underwhelmed by it. That may have to do with impossibly high expectations though. It aslo probably has to do with personal preference. I love bombastic Just Blaze like Game's "Church for Thugs" or Ghost's "The Champ". The production on GSNT was more subdued.
We can throw that Ghostface/Doom collab in there too. At least we're gonna get a Ghost/BBNG album.
I still haven't gotten over the disappointment of the first Greatest Story Never Told. Saigon is great and Just Blaze is one of my favorite producers ever but I just found something about that album lacking.
RTJ1 was an A- album and RTJ2 blows it out of the water. It's insane how much they improved on something that was already so good. It's like Killa and El made RTJ1 just as a fun side project but when they saw how much everyone loved it they decided to show everyone they could do even better. RTJ2 is face melting music.
Em peaked with the Marshall Mathers LP. Not saying he hasn't done anything worthwhile since then but he never put together an album that good since.
