Are you comfortable with racial slurs?
The only people she's shocking are people over 50 years old and people who wear monocles.
The public is really heavy on Denver (78%) and the over (87%) right now which always makes a bet risky, but it's been that way for the last 3 weeks. I'm gonna keep riding that gravy train until someone proves they can actually be stopped.
Football on (late) tonight: The A's played last night so the start time for Raiders/Chargers game has been pushed back to 11:35pm ET since it apparently takes 24 hours to draw some lines on the field.
The Mormons have been good to me this season. Utah St and BYU played in separate games last Friday and I hit my bets on both games all while I was watching The Book of Mormon musical.
Football on tonight: Utah State hosts BYU in what I assume is a battle for Mormon supremacy.
I saw the trailer in IMAX 3D before Pacific Rim and it was so stunning that I just assumed that's the way it was shot. I was shocked to read it was done in post-production.
Also on tonight: The University of Texas travels to Ames, Iowa to take on Iowa State in a game where I will be rooting against Texas because that's how bad I want Mack Brown fired.
I had the stupidest exchange with myself over that final question: *see's picture, thinks for about 3 seconds* "Oh, that's a Phillips-head screwdriver. Who invented the Phillips-head screw driver?" *about 5 seconds pass* "I'm a fucking idiot."
Yea, who needs stunning visual effects that push the boundary of what movies can be? I'll stick with radio shows instead.
I think I've given every episode this season a B+. No all-time classics but still 5 high quality IASIP episodes. It's amazing they're still getting it done in season 9.
Agreed. Much of the recent seasons problems (and I don't the think the recent seasons have been bad, just inconsistent) is that they just throw a bunch of topical shit together and see if it sticks. It's like they said "hey, murder porn shows and minecraft are popular right now. Lets do something with that." "Yea, and…
I think Dennis day would just be him smoking crack and trying to sleep with as many women as possible although that may be just be a normal day for Dennis.
Yea, I didn't get people saying that Walter White won in the end. Hank is dead. Skyler and Marie's relationship is probably irreconcilably damaged. His son hates him. The final conversation he had with his wife was him telling her that everything he has done, all the damage he had caused was never for his family but…
Futurama had 2 superb finales. The most recent was fantastic and was one of the best post-cancellation episodes made and The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings is the best episode they ever did period. Both are hilarious and manage to emotionally tie things up perfectly.
MLB "playoffs" also start tonight. As an Astros fan I have no horse in this race so I've decided to adopt the Pirates and A's as the teams I'll be rooting for. If those teams bow out early then I'll just be hoping for anyone but Boston, St. Louis, and Atlanta.
@avclub-6ca57d2774f04ac8acf3d2b10f0338f4:disqus @eric827:disqus In the Charlie Rose interview in the previous episode it was mentioned that the blue meth had been found in Europe, meaning that Lydia was still involved and Walt knew that. Walt's plan was to take out everybody, including Jesse until he saw Jesse was a…
A lot of episodes stick out in my mind like that are similar to what most people think are the best: Crawl Space, Ozymandias, Half Measure, Fly, Box Cutter. But two really stick out, and it may be because I saw these during AMC's marathon this past week, but Sauld and Sunset are fantastic. Salud takes the high action…
I tried to avoid the opening credits but accidentally saw Matt Jones' name pop up so I said "fuck yeah, Badger!". Then I thought "oh no, they better not kill Badger". They way they used him was better then anything I could've imagined.
