Yeah, but Roy wasn't this guy we saw here. He was a jerk, although a usually pleasant jerk. And yes, he was much better than British version of Roy's character who was a dick from the second you saw him.

No one plays "I have no patience for your bullshit" like Steve Buscemi. And honestly, that seems to be the complete essence of the Nucky character. I've noted some people point to that as being one note, but I'm on board with it. He suffers fools lightly and has no stomach for people's stupid quirky little things.

I'll always know him as Jimmy James!

I was definitely hearing some Bill from King of the Hill in there (Root did his voice), and I really love the actor. But that character seems a little bit much to me. Maybe he matches the original guy he's playing, but the accent and frustrating poetic way of talking seems too unreal for this show.

I was also thinking that the Italian character was a real sport for claiming to actually like diner spaghetti and meatballs.

I never saw Cannavale as any kind of good actor, but he's killing at as Gyp. He's such an odd combination of weirdness and menace in a show full of strange-talking characters. Every conversation he has with the little people (gas station guy, waitress) is extremely uncomfortable. And while I wasn't sure last week with…

Undoubtedly, Our Hero's older, partying uncle will be the fun show-stealing role of the series.

I've also noted that while most Batman movies give us a new take on the villains, Carrey often seems to be acting just like Gorshin.

That's one reason I liked Trapper. There were some hints of him being a little "darker" than Hawkeye.

It aggravates me in the movie how they immediately decide they hate Frank before he does anything worse beyond reading the Bible. He certainly turns into a nutcase later on, but that always bothers me.
