I think the character of BJ is a nicer guy and a fine character, but Trapper is much funnier. As an obsessive fan of the show, I think it would've been interesting to see how his character would have evolved over more seasons. Ah, until I read that last listing, I was going to suggest "Tuttle" to the list, where Hawkeye, Trapper and Radar invent a fake Captain with such skill, people are convinced they're close friends with the guy. I often wonder if Seinfeld's episode, "The Suzie" got some inspiration from there.
