Maybe because the book and movie of "Hannibal" were both misfires. And casting Moore was a terrible choice. I don't blame the writer for ignoring them.

Elisabeth Moss would make an amazing Clarisse.

Lol. I guess I deserved that. I didn't mean to sound snotty, but I'm a huuuge horror fan and wished that some of these great little films would get a little more exposure. Great comeback, though.

I changed my mind. I would replace IN MY SKIN with MARTYRS, the crazy-sick French film about the agony and ecstasy of pain.

Judging from this list, it seems that the Internet is only familiar with horror films they can see at the local shopping mall. I think some of the best horror in recent years are either indie, foreign, or "art house" movies that most people don't know about.

Sorry, Internet. Here are my choices for the top 10 (okay, 11) of the century so far…
