Good luck ma'am. We're all counting on you.

There was something charmingly dad-like and jolly about Kevin Murphy's Tom (I said this elsewhere as well), and I miss that here.
Do like Baron Vaughn, tho.

If they do another season, Baron Vaughn should replace Jonah in the jumpsuit.
Baron doesn't quite capture the jolly, dad-jokey vibe I associate with Tom, but he's got riffing style.
Jonah's just a greasy, eager weirdo.

CGI humans are the new Ewoks/Jar Jar/farting podrace mules.

The Bothans die later, in the Jedi prequel movie.
This movie is a big silly orgy of hale and healthy, fun-lovin' Bothans doin' their thing.

In an alternate reality, where rats make different choices than they do here, Alt-You tells this story in a slightly longer version, and it's titled "You Won't Believe How I Burned The House Down".

Cut to:
*The Situation gets a slapstick gonorrhea test from a clumsy rookie nurse to "Ride of the Valkyries".*

Is the pun thread over? Or can we shake a few more out?

Kylo Ren fails the marshmallow test every time.

The only one in line with enough sense to cover his face.

An upvote and a "hallelujah" for you. This Night is one my all-time favorites by anyone. Goddamn delicious, that album.

If Larry Wilmore fails to carry Colbert's momentum, Comedy Central should offer Mr. Manson the job.
He's got the charm, the ease, the wit.

Mike Watt and Nels Cline should never be apart.

Right.

Vaya con Dios, Tasha.
You did good work, and that Dave Sim interview is still one of my favorite things on this site.
It was a very welcome interview (I still luurv Cerebus), and it was great the way you stood up to his nonsense.
Good luck with everything.

Terrence Malick is responsible for both Footloose and Dirty Dancing.
Dirty Dancing is just a sassier version of Badlands, if you think about it.

Looooove  (mmmm mmmm)
Love is straaaange (yeah yeah)
Lot of peeeeeeeople (mmmm mmmm)
Take it for a game
etc…

So, self-releasing the follow-up to a beloved, cult-classic,
indie cred-rich album that people have been waiting 22 years for?

Pshaw.
McCarthy is probably a big lightweight sissy just like Hemingway.
The cultivated air of toughness is always suspect.
