That happened to me years ago when I started using "hella" because I thought it was funny how dumb it is. Now I have to monitor myself 24-7 to make sure I don't accidentally let one drop.

And let's not forget one of the cringiest shows ever: Fawlty Towers, from the 70's.
Wow. This list looks homogeneous to you? Elvis Costello, Eddie Money, Kenny Loggins, and David Byrne? That's idiotic.
Damn right.
Lefty doesn't work for me either, hence the moniker hookeye, which summarizes the origin story. Cyclops of the world unite!
That's some quality shit there, Xenu. All hail.
"Gypsy Punk" kicks ass.
My Gateway was
a friend playing "Monologue About Bermuda" from Having a Party With Jonathan Richman. Hilarious song in which he discusses why he left The Modern Lovers and even goes into a verse of "She Cracked" in the middle of it. Made me want more. I saw him just a couple of months ago live and he kicked ass.
Oh shit! Gene Wolfe! THAT I'd love to see.
Adding my voice to the thanks. I'm another one with a slew of great music I'd never have given a chance if it weren't for this series.
It wasn't "Toyoda" or Honda, but Datsun.
Snow Angels was good.
I'm with Rumsen up there: these are two terrific shows that do what they do with aplomb and real beauty. I don't recall liking any tv show as much as I like these (Friday Night Lights comes close).
Er, Jesus? "Chinaman"? Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha) was Indian.
sweeet
I love both these guys. What a collaboration!
I don't want a pickle, I just wanna ride on my motorcickle.
You guys talking about self-crucifixion are reminding me of my favorite poem: http://www.ftrain.com/poem_…
Bill Killed
Nick Cave's Murder Ballads is great for this. Twisted shit (and hilarious).
