Yep, she talked to Syd in the lab. Or at least told her off.

Wow! I'm so entranced by this, much more than I've been with any other superhero shows or films. In fact, the only slightly disappointing parts of the show is when it veers into tropes (the "Eye" character falls flat, the "war" between mutants and others is not grounded in the show and a little superficial).
Sure, but my point is that this triumph-turning-into-weakness-battle is a scene that could easily have been told without graphic gore, exploding skulls or the like.
3 - no, thanks for that…
I never stated there was no violence in Mad Men - but very little in order to tell its stories. The scenes you mention stand out all the more because the rest of the episodes don't need this violence in order to be compelling. A fistfight between two men is a major event in Mad Men, one that has been built up over…
Yes, well put. There is so much good thematic stuff in the show, ripe for exploring, and it's so disappointing that they often just hit the violence button. Unnecessary, I feel?
Great piece, Genevieve! Couldn't you review the finale as well?
Anyone nervous about BrBa sticking the landing?
Let's rank the seasons yay!
Roger: "Get Bob Benson for me"
(one second passes)
[BZZT] "Bob Benson is here to see you"
Roger: (annoyed) "Really?"
So happy about this. I missed his show this past year…
When it comes to vague and elusive "On the next week on…"-segments and episode summaries, I think it will be hard to top this synopsis, for the sixth season finale:
Season 3 continues to be great, thankfully! Have seen the first three episodes on Swedish TV :)
Feeling very hopeful about season 2 reading this. The producers seem to have a good grasp of what worked - and exactly what didn't (the backstory in "Covert War", the assassin in "Mutually Assured Destruction") this season.
Very good. I missed these rankings!
God, Don tanking Herb and then shaking his hand was beautiful to watch.
Posted this on Alan Sepinwalls blog as well, and it's going to get buried here, but I'm so frustrated I have to let it out…
Raylan telling Constable Bob to calm down after the shoot-out.
I loved the brief sequence in the car when Bob bonded with Lenny.
