I have not read the Baroque Cycle (which probably renders my input on Stephenson dated at best) so I will have to give it a shot. Glad to hear that he's gotten better at this from his Snow Crash and Cryptonomicon days.

Amen.
Neal Stephenson, we're looking at you.
Motherf…you just HAD to bring Howard Jones into this, didn't you.
I thought Baseketball was great as well. Even if it were just 100 minutes of silence, interrupted by Bob Costas yelling "You're excited?! Feel these nipples!" it would be worth it.
All that, AND under 140 characters? Well played.
I had a Contrarian meter. It was overloaded by this post.
Yeah, but they made it listenable this time.
We no longer want to hit that.
Don't knock my smock, or I'll clean your clock?
There's a first time for everything!
Mickey's is malt liquor? I guess that explains my crippling alcohol addiction.
OH GOOOOOD FOR YOUUU
It definitely ought to be Kenneth from 30 Rock when he gets agitated.
I laughed quite a bit too. I can see why some might not like the animation (which isn't that important to me - looks nice on Hulu), Cheri Oteri and the groundskeeper are pretty brutal and the plot was paper-thin, but it was constructed cleverly. I find the voice work the funniest part, and for me that's enough.
Prince of Thieves is lots of fun, emo Will Scarlet notwithstanding - although he and Nottingham both yelling at the annoying kid to shut up toward the end almost makes his performance worth it.
I liked that 70's show (at least for a few seasons) but that creator is a total ass. That email exchange is truly epic.
"The power of my words filled him with a kind of madness!"
Miller: good call.
Break me off a piece of that…
