I loved Valentina in that moment! She was gracious and dignified, but she'll still cut a bitch if she has to. I honestly don't understand why Aja thinks she's supposed to be so good; she looked like a rotting Muppet last week and it's like she's never even heard of blending.

Aja and Valentina burying the hatchet was a really good moment. V has been so dignified and thoughtful, which I appreciate. And Sasha really handled that whole thing well, in spite of Eureka being such a Bitter Betty.

I adored their segment tonight—it was so funny! And the way they coordinated their 80's-esque office wear was delightful.

Vodka and Pepsi—a winning combination!

I didn't know I needed it until this moment, but GOD DAMN do I need it.

You and me both! I loved that pilot.

I'm so excited about this. Not just because of Carrie Fisher (!), but because I've been surprised by how incredibly funny I find this show, even though it's not in my typical comedy wheelhouse.

Team Amazing, 100%.

It's so good! I love it in cheese sauce in particular—all of the spice, none of the specks.

Oh good God. She's hopeless.

Yeah, it's most definitely not boring—while vanilla has a bunch of flavor compounds, chocolate still has more. Side note: if you're interested in chocolate, I recommend the podcast The Slow Melt, by Simran Sethi; it's a podcast all about chocolate.

Can I come over to your house? You sound fun!

It's any quantity of gin—that shit tastes like Satan's floor cleaner.

Yup! If one is good, five is better.

As an aside, I will firmly recommend warm milk with vanilla and sugar. It is my go-to insomnia drink—drunk with low lights and an old book, it's the perfect thing when you just can't sleep.

Yeah, that's how I understand it—and it makes clear the difference in the way they run their whorehouses. Margaret charges her girls for upkeep, but allows them to do a fair amount of earning on their own and emphatically does not procure; Mrs. Quigley runs a house of greater refinement on its face, but sees her girls

I'd love to get a fuller picture of the backstory between Margaret and William. At the bare minimum, we know they got together after Lennox went to America, but that's it. (Also, I absolutely want more Mrs. Lennox—an African-American woman who went to London with her white husband, running a household with her white

Yeah, that warmed the cockles of my cold and cynical heart. I would love to see a scene between the two of them. What does fatherly counsel look like when it comes to advising your daughter who is a prostitute and whose earnings go into the family coffers?

Oh God, Medici was such shit. I totally watched it, because finals week, but it was utter dreck. But this show is doing a bang-up job in its portrayal, and I'm fascinated by Margaret's son and what role he'll play in all this as he gets older.

We'll show up at their offices singing "She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain When She Comes"!
