They weren't lying though! The last act of the pilot pays off quite well.

I love the pilot's ending too: "WAH HOO OO HET IN UR HANZ!"

There were a bunch of shows that were hyped as the "next Twin Peaks." In addition to Wild Palms, there was Picket Fences (by David E. Kelley) and the primetime Dark Shadows reboot.

I was thinking of it just the other day. In the AV Club article where they discuss who was in Peaks, what they've been up to since, and whether they'll be in the new season, they talk about Ian Buchanan's post-Peaks work, but fail to mention On The Air. I found that odd.

Yeah they've been doing it less to make room for yet more articles covering the minutiae of the Alex Jones custody case.

I remember On The Air! Of the eps that aired, only the first was any good. It, of course, was directed by Lynch himself, and I thought it was actually pretty hilarious.

He didn't specify, so I assume urinal conversation is OK.

…or shows in this case. Like, a dozen of them .

Steve Harvey is on TV all the damn time. He has a daily talk show, the syndicated Family Feud (which airs like four times a day in the New York area), the prime time Celebrity Family Feud, Little Big Shots (basically Kids Say The Darnedest Things, sans Cosby), and the upcoming Showtime At The Apollo reboot.

It's a good theme, especially the longer version.

I never watched Psych on USA (I don't have cable), but recently, I've been getting into reruns on the Ion Television network, so I'm actually really stoked for this movie. Between this, the new Twin Peaks season, and rumors of a Deadwood movie, I'm feeling pretty good about the TV landscape (while I still bemoan the

The joke wasn't homophobic! He's saying Trump is Putin's bitch. That's it.

There was an EU story once, I think, which had R2 telling the first choice droid to fake having a bad motivator so Uncle Owen would pick R2 instead.
