"Saturday Night" is my pick for the best Graves-era Misfits song. It almost reaches Glenn-era levels of quality.

You met Sherilyn Fenn?! Damn, I envy you! She's one of my ultimate life-long crushes.
Yeah, my ex and I always had a chuckle at the lyrics to "Return of The Fly," but that song is the exception.
Yeah, Glenn used the B-horror movie imagery in a metaphorical way: "I Turned Into a Martian" is really about alienation. The Graves era (or worse, the Jerry Only era) has lyrics that read like TV Guide summaries of the title movie's plot.
I saw Danzig in NYC last year, a few days before Halloween. The year before, Glenn played in NYC with his Samhan reunion tour (which I missed! Still kicking myself). The Jerry Only-fronted Misfits played in or near NYC around Halloween too in the last few years.
My Crimson Ghost shirt was purchased in 1993 still fits, but it's raggity as fuck. Still wear it sometimes, though.
"Archangel" is my pick for best Samhain song as well. There's a rumor that "Archangel" was actually written with the intention of giving it to The Damned to record.
"Some Kinda Hate" is my second favorite after "Astro Zombies'"! You have good taste, son — and I love that "Munsters meets Ramones" description.
Part of me wishes that the keyboards-only version of the Misfits had made more than just that one single. Imagine a full album by that version of the band! It would've been…interesting. "Cough/Cool" kind of sounds to me like a cross between "Bela Lugosi's Dead" and "Riders On The Storm," and I'd be fascinated to hear…
I love the bass on that track.
I love how Rollins doesn't appear to know the words on that live version. Glenn's singing, while Rollins is just yelling "AAARRRRGH! YAAAARRGH!" again and again.
"Astro Zombies" is my favorite as well. Second favorite: "Some Kinda Hate"….other runners up include "Hybrid Moments," "Skulls," "Hatebreeders," and "Spinal Remains."
Eddie Van Halen getting back together with David Lee Roth was the first Horseman of the Apocalypse.
But will it be a happening?
The Graves Misfits weren't bad, I thought. Their albums weren't as good as the Danzig era stuff (of course), but they were decent. In concert, they put on a decent show.
Undead lives matter!
It happened. She appeared as a reporter in a couple of episodes (I just saw her episodes on CBS's late night Saturday Good Wife reruns). While filming her episodes, there was an accident on set where a light fell on her. I seem to recall that her role was going to be continuing for longer, but was cut short because of…
Wow, you are young.
Speaking of Farscape—are you ever going to finish the damn reviews? Because if you do, and you eventually review The Peacekeeper Wars, I could rant about how that miniseries kinda did what you and Brian_Cronin are talking about: show a huge, monumental, mass casualty event, and then gloss over it.
There must have been less populated areas that they could've chosen though.
