He reminded me of Imperious Leader from the original Battlestar Galactica, and that is not meant as a compliment.

Yeah that makes sense. Kinda wish the film had given some more solid info, but then again, I'm a sucker for that sort of thing; I loved the political material in Deep Space Nine, Babylon 5, and even Farscape, which dabbled in it in its final season.

Well blue Slurpees, Italian ices, and other frozen treats can turn your tongue blue, and that's not so bad.

My urologist is named Dr. Wang. Seriously, I am not making that up. She pronounces it as "wong" and I don't blame her one bit.

Yeah, I jumped ship quite early in that post too. *shudders at the thought of the whole thing*

Yeah, Johnny Carson would joke about The Who singing, "I hope I die before I get really, really old" on their newest tours in the late '80s.

They already did a throwback to the "I love you/I know" thing in Return Of The Jedi!

I've heard him say it many times. In fact, just today, I saw an interview clip of him promoting The Force Awakens, where he mentions that he thought Han should've died in ROTJ.

It may be that they didn't include that type of stuff because so many people complained about the political material in the prequels, particularly Episode I. If they went into detail about the new structure of the galaxy, and the First Order's relationship with it, critics and fanboys would be whining, "Ugh, here we

I agree with a couple of your complaints:

You mean like Wayne Pygram, who played the main Farscape villain Scorpius, and showed up in Episode III for like two seconds as a non-speaking Moff Tarkin during the ending montage?

The cartoon bit, where Boba debuts, is on YouTube. You should check it out for completion sake if nothing else. I've seen parts of the Holiday Special, but could never make it through the entire thing. I really is awful.

Wow, this seems to be the consensus opinion on Into Darkness. Interesting. I kinda liked it. It was far from the best Trek film, but it was also much better than the worst Trek film (that would be Insurrection, in my opinion), I exists in that crunchy middle area where films like The Motion Picture and The Final
