You seem to be right about the age thing. I saw this at age 11 and loved it, and while I still love it on some levels, I found it doesn't hold up quite so well on rewatch.

In season 1, Liv assumed she couldn't have sex with Major, because she would get excited and go into full-zombie mode. This was also the reason that her zombie rock star boyfriend couldn't perform on stage any more, because adrenalin (sp?) would be pumping and would make him rage out.
It was both really tender and sweet, and really hot and sexy. Well done, iZombie.
I was livid when they let Wu go into a nuthouse, thinking he was insane, rather than tell him the truth. ARGH! Genre show secret-keeping is one of my biggest pet peeves.
Actually, Captain Cold and Heat Wave have only appeared a handful of times on The Flash, but both will be regulars on the new spin-off, Legends of Tomorrows. Also, they'll be good guys.
A little late to the party here, but I just wanted to add something: When Liv and Major are saying they are going to "be creative," I kept thinking of Pushing Daisies. On that show, the romantic leads, the Pie Maker and his childhood sweetheart, Chuck, were in love but could never touch each other, for doing so would…
True, but you never know when you'll need one. I bought my extra-long tie for my sister's wedding in 2004, and used it again for my mother's funeral in 2006, and my high school sweetheart's wedding in 2012.
Yeah, and why did Chuck's wife just stand there pointing the gun? He took like three full seconds to scramble over the counter (instead of just teleporting, for whatever reason), and she just stood there like a statue. Then, she slowly turned her gun on Tommy's girl and talked about killing her (instead of just doing…
Also, has anyone bothered to point out to Chuck's wife that is Chuck is an evo, then their stupid kid probably was too?
Season 3 was the worst season, and Sylar was a big reason. He ping-ponged between good and evil multiple times that season. And why the fuck did Angel Pettrelli and her husband both try to convince Sylar he was their son?! Who in the hell wants to adopt a fucking serial killer? Not just that, but who would want to…
Christmas came early!
Exactly! I saw that and thought, "Oh fuck, this isn't going to be a full 22-episode season is it?! Dammit…"
I also wondered why he didn't use his earlier power to teleport Chuck's wife out of there! She was pointing her gun at him while he awkwardly scrambled over the counter, then kept pointing at him, then slowly turned it on his girlfriend. The whole time, Tommy was just standing there, then pleading with her not to…
Why redirect the blast at all? Let Chuck kill his bitchy murderer wife!
Greg Gruberg is to JJ Abrams as Bruce Campbell is to Sam Raimi.
I actually liked him! One of the few characters I've liked this season.
Fat Parkman.
Well, he did go evil in that alt timeline in the late season one ep where Hiro travels to the future, but still, you're right about the Molly connection. I had actually forgotten all about that, but it makes his behavior this season nonsensical.
Peter and Sylar are both gone, presumably because the actors who play them have sound some level of career success (same thing happened to Claire Bennett).
They killed the dude with the pennies, and he was actually pretty cool (so of course he had to go).
