Exactly. One character saying "I love you" and another character responding with "I know" instead of "I love you too" is a reference to Empire Strikes Back. That's not in the critic's imagination, it's just fact.

It was worth a watch just for that laughable visual f/x.

You should try to watch this ep at least to see those awful f/x referred to in the review. I mean, I'm pretty forgiving with television f/x—they're on a budget, I get it—but when Chuck was whisked out of the water by a whirlwind created by WeatherGirl, it was embarrassing.

As a diehard fan of Glenn Danzig's late-70s/early '80s HorrorPunk band, The Misfits, I am glad that the villains from the cartoon are not in this.

Relax, it's a bass keytar.

That happens in the sequel. SPOILER ALERT!

I thought that in 2015, kids would be wearing their pants inside out. Shoes on hands? That's even worse!

That spambot has been around so long now, you would think someone would've corrected that "stride mother" thing….unless it means something that I'm unaware of.

I thought that was it, but didn't want to risk misspelling his name.

Yeah the only time continuity stuff really bothered me was in the episode where they spoofed the 7 Up films, and showed characters like Chief Wiggum, Moe, and Prof. Frink being the same age as Marge and Homer, which they were not. Barny, Carl, and Lenny? Sure, but not the others, all of whom were established multiple

Excellent points!

Also, Willow's two kids are SOOOOOO adorable! When his daughter says that Elora is "so cute!" I just about melted.

I've seen it since then. Hell, I have it on DVD!

I loved The Doors, but I was in a Doors (the band) phase at the time, so who knows how it holds up.

Brunettes? She was a redhead in Willow! I've lusted after redheads ever since.

Salton Sea was awesome.

Also, The Salton Sea.

You're not! I caught that. I think there was another Chtulhu appearance in a previous episode, but I can't recall which (it was probably in a couch gag?).

Also, the one where Homer pirates movies, and the one with Joan Rivers. Those are two of the best of recent years, if you ask me (which you didn't, but hey).

I'm not a fan of Family Guy, but I laughed at that line from Peter.
