Yeah, as I just posted elsewhere, one of the AV Club critics said that every time they see characters driving on tv, they assume a t-boning is imminent. I had that in mind when the scene began, and of course that's just happened.

I forget who, but one of the AVClub critics said that every time they see a couple driving on tv, they assume their car is about to get t-boned. I Thought of that quote when the scene began and, sure enough, it happened. Fucking television.

But Primatech was run by evos! Granted, that aspect never made sense to me, but hey.

That's how his power worked in early season 1 — he had a power of the evo near him, but that was it. By the end of the season, they made him God. Somehow, they didn't foresee the storytelling problems that would cause.

Funny you should say that, because I once saw a minute of The Big Bang Theory where they made a joke about how bad Heroes got.

Kids have been inoculated against the horror of maiming by the Star Wars saga.

Oh sure, blame the Intersect.

Yeah, I watched the original series to the end (I'm a glutton for punishment), but there was nothing about the North Pole in it.

True. As I posted elsewhere, I love punk, and was a pretty annoying punk purist in my day, but nowadays I'll listen to anything that catches my fancy, while some of my friends from the old days still only listen to bands that ape the UK82 sound.

WOW, I love Kiss, but they are anything but deep. I mean, they're a silly joke band. They rock, but let's not confuse them with anything profound.

For the record, it's not just metal purists. I'd wager any genre purists are like that. I know punk rock purists are. I used to be a Taliban-ish punk rocker back in the day—I only listened to punk, and then mostly certain pure genres (HC, oi!, crust, etc). Now, I still listen to punk, but I listen to other stuff too,

Nothing more-or-less about it. He is a straight-up, open National Socialist. Hell, he's extreme even for a Nazi—he thinks people with brown eyes are subhuman. Most neos wouldn't go that far (to do so would alienate a lot of dues-paying members).

We should be so lucky.

It's nothing to do with superheroes or the love of them, but season 3 was just a bad show: characters acted wildly different, not just from episode to episode, but from scene to scene. And then there was the fact that both Mama and Papa Pettrelli wanted to adopt Sylar, a serial killer who targets Evos. Why would

No need to apologize. I was asking for it.

I thought that sounded familiar!

I've never seen Girls, so I didn't get the reference in this episode.

What's wrong with being sexy?

Sadly, Hannibal is no more.

Sticking together is what good waffles do!
