Oh wow, I just finished the first season of twin peaks. I've heard the show gets troublesome/dissapointing later on, but man that first season is almost perfect television. I did not expect that at all. Its still so different from pretty much any other show I've seen, man today was a good day, just watching those

I just finished this first season, and boy, it is a pretty perfect season of tv. It might not be the best, but for what it planned to do, it certainly achieved it. I have to say, my favorite chracter is probbly audrey, though that might just be, because I fell in love with her during the scene in the pilot where she

but you do read the reviews on this site right? because those will change drastically if the netflix way is going to be the norm.

if you watch at your own rate though, you can't talk with people on the net about it at all though, unless you don't mind spoilers. I hate spoilers, so I will not read or comment on any reviews that use this business model, unless I binge watch it all first.

its not about being against change, its about being against this particular dumb change. If all episodes are released at once, a person who just doesn't have the time to immediatedly binge watch a whole season, will now be completely unable to talk about a show, for fear of being spoiled by the people who happen to

Yep, i sort of hope this release all at once stuff fails, even though i obviously also want arrested development to succeed.

Well i didn't hate this episode, but if its indicative of what this show is going to be like in the future, its not going to be a show i'll watch imediately, but just sometime throughout the week. it still seems like its better than most shows, but it can't reach the height of harmons community, so there is always a

It actually felt off for me as well. It wasn't that horrible, since it was really just a short quick joke, but it did feel a little jarring.
Edit: I also didn't read tdds review before watching the episode, so it was independent of him.

I'm starting getting drunk right now, so hopefully I'll be wasted by the time it airs. I'm going to rewatched once i'm sober again, but while I'm willing to give the show a fair shake, the only way i'll tolerate the pilot is by getting drunk and randomly rapping about fucking you mama.

@avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus no wonder the stats are so horrible, those commies are counted into american stats!!

RAPE IS NEVER FUNNY! I HOPE YOU DIE!

I think portland, Or shouldn't be overlooked, just based on its breweries.

what about liz lemon on 30 rock?

While thats a pretty dumb assertion, Soviet Russia, did pretty much decriminalize homosexuality right after the revolution, allowing openly gay people to serve in government.  Of course stalin fucked that up as well and criminalized it again, though he did it to get better relations to the church, so it could be seen

Social progress is often pushed by people who hold some viewpoints very strongly. Years later, suddenly they aren't that annoying anymore after history has shown they are right, but people like Martin Luther King sure as hell was very annoying for a very many people back in his day.

Yes moderates and centrists are pretty fucking terrible. Its a well known political truth, that elections are won in the center. What few ever seem to realise when saying this, is that means the only voters in who are strongly represented are in fact the moderates/centrist/swing voters. But those guys keep switching

@avclub-bc3e14e2ab565f7787d753233df681d1:disqus  Don't alot of trans people not actually go through with a surgery though, but are none the less still much happier living their life as their chosen gender, rather than their born one? wouldn't that indicate that its about more than just some biological need?
