I feel the exact same way. Except you forgot to put grampa in the crimefighting "trio" (and astrid of course, but since she isnt related it doesn't fit quite as well ).

kind of weird how differently people can perceive things. Fringe is probably the show i have the most emotional investment in, and I cannot understand how someone who has watched it for as long as you have, couldn't be emotionally invested in these characters. Thats not a criticism of you btw, I just find it amazing.

I am actually almost certain there will be at least one set in the now, because fringe has always been good at telling an overarching story through multiple timelines. maybe an episode set with lots of september and walter coming up with a crazy plan to save the world, or something like that.
