I've never played in another league. This one keeps my hands plenty full. I can see the appeal of a draft league, but I love the auction format.

At the Tuesday night game last week, there was a pop-up with a runner on first. They didn't call the infield fly rule for some reason, so Utley let the ball drop so they could get the lead runner, who was much faster than the batter.

1987 for me. Yup, NL-only auction league.

Rotisserie. Judging from your past comments, I think I've been playing in this league since before you were born.

That actually does make me feel better.

Meanwhile, I own Ottavino (NL only league), but luckily I had him on my reserve roster this week.

The important thing to remember is that the infield fly rule is there to protect the runner, not the batter or the fielder.

And that little boy, who nobody liked, grew up to be….

I was hoping it would be more gaseous.

But you still got the save, as the Jansen owner in my league was happy to point out.

I hope he was watching.

Sorry about your Grandma and MiL. Sympathy upvote.

Could you tell me again the part about the things?
…the things?

Cars 2 made me really angry. Visibly angry. Cars 3 is just a retread (hah) of the first one. It has some good moments, but otherwise it's really bland.

He also hit a run-scoring double.

They're all good for Dodger fans these days. But yeah, this one was pretty unique.

We wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves.

Agreed. But I did enjoy a lot.

My son can't sit through a movie that long.

I have no idea what this means.
