@Feed and Partridge:
Weeds was great for the first three seasons. Then it became a shitty parody of itself. They should have ended the show after the first three. There was a perfect story arch which ended exactly then. No need for the rest. Horrible.

I must say, I'm extremely please with both the ranking and the list itself. Personal preference might lead me to exclude maybe 3 or 4 and sub in a few things, but overall, great job AV.

Um, whoever thinks Firefly and Farscape are similar does not know shit about SciFi-Westerns. Douches.

@J Mac,

I know the order in which these things are placed "aren't as important as the fact that they made it onto the list, blah, blah, blah," but I think you should still put the #1 at the Bottom. Makes it much more suspenseful.

What the fuck was that?

I had to leave the theater when I went to see Ernest Scared Stupid when I was younger. It's a bit embarassing and my mom still makes fun of me to this day about it but I was like 6 at the time. Really freaked me out.

And regarding the "cliches" in the film, what cliches? It's obviously not the most original film ever made, but really nothing happens the entire movie. So I'm not entirely sure what can be cliche in a film that really doesn't have much in means of plot to begin with. It's basically just a film about a moment in these

I kind of feel like the whole "Hansard is too big and ruled the Irish music scene with his shite" argument is mostly due to the fact that Ireland isn't that big of a place. Not sure how that may or may not have contributed anything worthwhile to the conversation, but whatever…

Did any one else lose it
when they showed Creed's shocked reaction during Michael's rant?

In the same boat as Huh. It's like you wrote the show or something. I watched the pilot and gave up, but I've been reading the recaps just to see how ridiculous it still is. And like Huh said, every week there's a few bits where you try to explain why it might be a good show when it's obvious from the rest of your

The Strangers Might Have Been OK
If they didn't tell you how it ended in the all the trailers they decided to show every commercial break on every channel.

What about TriggerHappyTV? I loved that show. Big cell phones and all.

Yeah, really, I would think this article was about the Road and not about… come to think of it I don't even think I read the thing…

Holy shit, I completely agree. I had the way Rockwell said "Sentry Does" stuck in my head for about a week after seeing the trailer. I really only want to watch the bits where he's the Transvestite Hero of Brutus now. Shame on Hess for making a shitty film around an undoubtedly remarkable comedic performance from Sir

I find myself somewhat in between the two sides of the argument here. I can understand how the violence in Blood Meridian can seem over the top and I can definitely understand how that is actually accurate. The west is something that I find fascinating and read extensively about when I can. So while I can certainly

You know, Senator, Andy Dufresne was thrown in solitary confinement for calling someone obtuse… just sayin…

I wouldn't say that's a stretch. I think you guys have definitely convinced me. Though, I still feel that maybe because of the optomistic bits, we experience a greater emotional connection to it? So when the end comes, despite its optomism, it still feels even more damaging than any of his other novels because we have

I actually just finished Blood Meridian a few weeks ago. There are single sentences in that book that are more harrowing than anything in The Road.
