I'll have to revisit Clerks and Chasing Amy which I liked at the time but now expect to loathe as I have every other film of his since and including Dogma. He should have been stopped about the same time as that Burns guy was. Fucking awful dialogue, etc.

Agreed on Untitled not a fitting firstie….a buddy first burned it for me and I assumed he threw on a cool single by some other band before TOTBL. Even the vocals are different from the rest.

5 to 1—-I'm with you all the way. I never understood how that album didn't make them huge. One of my all time top 10.

I have a bunch of his stuff from all eras (except, strangely for someone who loves the stuff, his most recent) and I think it's all great…maybe interchangeably great…I can throw any disc on an enjoy it not so much as THAT great RT disc, but as another piece of the whole….this may explain why I stopped buying.

No disrespect for the recently deceased, but for me those two songs are the only auto-skips in their tragically brief catalogue.

Ditto on Uncle Tupelo's "Still Feel Gone":

Blood Oranges—-they did the alt thing really well around the same time as Uncle Tupelo (who get most of the credit—-don`t get me wrong—-I luvs my uncle, especially Anodyne`). I just got `Crying Tree` 94—-really great.

Yes…I am a communist…share, share, share….I demand that you share!
