I liked John Oliver's tag a LOT. "For Marigold, press four."

Robot City Book 2: Suspicion was my first adult novel I read! It actually holds up pretty well today as both SF and neo-noir, and averts many tropes to which other novels of both genres have fallen prey. The series as a whole was not so lucky, but is still worth reading.

No love for Glynn Turman's performance? His best scene starts with a throwaway joke ("I bet you're wondering why I got this can of gasoline") and ends with a completely in-character philosophical treatise on evil and its place in the world.

I always thought it was hyphenated. Let's face it, David Bean-Cooley and David Bianculli are both perfect NPR names.
