I…don't…understand. Would anyone who lives in the Loop really drive to their polling place rather than walk?

Strange. Maybe it's an ISP thing? I have Time Warner.
On the one hand, I love Yahoo for saving Community at the eleventh hour in the most Community way possible, and because they're basically the Greendale of streaming services. On the other hand, there seems to be no way of watching it without constant buffering and skipping and audio sync issues.
I haven't seen the The Leftovers, but it sounded pretty dull and bleak. I'm a little tired of all the heavy dramas (this is coming from someone who loved Breaking Bad), but I would watch Linda Cardellini and Kyle Chandler in just about anything.
I'm still totally going to watch Bloodline, but I'm a little disappointed it's not the light family dramedy I imagined when I first heard Kyle Chandler and Linda Cardellini would be playing siblings.
First at work! 13 correct.
I also enjoyed the first 8 more than the last 5 episodes. It felt like the show took a hard turn in episode 9 towards the more absurd/less grounded elements of 30 Rock, and while I loved that show in the beginning, the complete detachment from reality got old after a while. I loved the genuine human emotion of…
I only recently realized she was Ramona. I was trying to find clips of the show and found full episodes on YouTube. It was like stepping back into my childhood. My childhood… *stares into space as screen ripples and flashback starts*
Just curious, is there any chance his attorney could argue that the existence of the documentary makes it impossible for him to get a fair trial? Has anyone ever successfully argued that defense?
In my high school, it was called Egyptian Rat Screw (abbreviated to 'ERS' to avoid any teacher disapproval). If I'm thinking of the right one, that was one of those games that had so many varying rules, it was pointless to play with someone who knew more of the 'rules' because there was no time to figure them out…
Oh thanks! Just looked it up—the exact part I was thinking of. Such a great choice for a tribute.
My introduction to Pratchett was actually through the Bromeliad trilogy aimed at younger readers, Truckers, Diggers and Wings. "Humanist" is the best word for him; the trilogy gets its name from an absolutely beautiful metaphor for the human condition in one of the later books involving bromeliads and tree frogs. The…
I love the promo/trailer for that season with Raylan saying "This is who we are…this is who we've always been," and Boyd saying (in a different context) "You don't know me." It perfectly captures why that season was so great—the theme of not being able to escape the past, their family history, or who others think they…
Like the couple who missed their train last week because they were taking a selfie? That was hilariously awful.
I loved that he was able to just zip line away from her…then she showed up after him, still talking. She was right about him not listening and the icky doctor/nurse dynamic (which the producers totally intended by pairing them together), but not being able to let your partner's mistake go after you've made your point…
Stanley Tucci on a detective show? How did I not know about this?!
Thank you! I get really excited when I find someone else who has read that book.
My awesome friend helped me re-do my resume, which now looks awesome, and recommended me to her boss, who forwarded my resume to his wife, who owns a local business. I also applied for another job this morning and heard back from a third job that they want a phone screen interview tomorrow afternoon. I am so pumped…
I love I Capture the Castle! The movie adaptation, with Romola Garai, Rose Byrne, Bill Nighy and Sinead Cusack (as Mrs. Cotton), while not quite as good as the book, is still excellent.
"I don't doubt that you think that that's true."
