As a native Nashvillian, I kind of pitched a fit when Hayden Panettiere's Juliette Barnes pronounced Birmingham as "Brimin'ham". We only drop out "g"s at the end of words darlin'. Actually most of the southern accents on that show, especially Clare Bowen's, are awful.
