Gosh I had no idea Medium Cool was finally available, I've been hoarding various copies via interlibrary loan for ages now. Thank goodness, and thanks for the heads up. :)

Here's hoping the 'truth' has far more at stake. I'm assuming so.
I covet Solange's awesome hair, but I have to say Beyonce is my guilty pleasure music.
No it's not, but I think @avclub-b438234660b05ac0fa7c13ec58bec06b:disqus is right- it's really about individual traumas. I imagine that if you've spent the better part of two decades with the kind of relationship to mortality that one would have expecting to face it with scheduled certainty, that this would…
Yeah, I completely agree. I am absolutely certain that I am fascinated by Daniel, by the dynamics of his family, and by the portrayal of small-town politics on display in the first season of this show enough to not be invested in whether Daniel is 'guilty' or 'innocent'. I honestly won't feel any differently about him…
5 TV scenes that have wrecked me:
And the expressions on both their faces…I am still kind of a wreck from just that. More tomorrow maybe..
It does seem like Bourdain is getting access to some great places in this iteration of No Reservations'. The show looks gorgeous and has been really entertaining thus far.
1992!??!
I'm just going to join in to your articulate objections to @avclub-3bca94e353e508c1a49bf984fc5c346d:disqus 's rant. I scrolled through the comments and I have to be honest, I really don't see any substantial hostility towards Daft Punk. In fact, I completely agree…
I don't feel one bit sorry for Don. He's a (white) privileged, wealthy, successful executive with a wife who adores him. I've felt sorry for him at times throughout the series: I've admired the way he willed himself to success, I've sympathized with the decay and end of his marriage, complicit as he was in its…
Not a chance. When I tell him about it when he's older, I plan to tell him we weren't ready, and it was a tough decision, and that he's been the most pleasant surprise ever. :)
Actually, I'm not sure if all Doctor's offices do this, but mine certainly did. I had gotten a series of tests done to diagnose a medical condition…and it turns out I was pregnant! The nurse even sounded all excited for me, and totally said congratulations, hilariously enough. I dunno why but I just pretended that I…

and as long as they can explain it with the 'one bad egg' excuse.
Just as often-people panic, and someone is killed. Just because people carrying concealed weapons can make rational decisions doesn't always mean that they will. Even trained police officers (and probably military personnel) have shot people who have been found to have fake weapons.
So do I, although I think Michael Laudrup might be a good fit as well.
I almost made a joke about Millwall supporters, but where's the fun in that?
Cheering for the underdog (and Roberto Martinez, whom I really think is a great manager), so go Lactics!
An amazing, gorgeous film by a distinctive, demanding, provocative filmmaker. Seriously, if you can find this film, it is worth watching-it's beautifully choreographed, sumptuously composed, and a good introduction to her work.
