So you're saying Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has a shot?

Did you just jerk off to that wedding album you found in the garbage?

Another episode, another treasure trove of gems from Skinner.  Sure, the "disobedient whale" and "your ass is mine" lines are good, but the 4-H "No. It's the children who are wrong" bit is pure gold, and I'm highly perturbed by the apparent lack of love (so far) for my other favorite line of his from this episode:

I can't really say why, but the cut from Scott Christian to Kent Brockman, where the feed picks up on Kent half through introducing himself ("—ockman") might be favorite joke from this episode.

I'd like to see L-I-N-C-O-N vs. the Notorious L.I.N.C.O.L.N. in a mic fight.

For any of you younger types out there that might not be familiar with this tune, it's the old Meow Mix jingle (as @avclub-069090145d54bf4aa3894133f7e89873:disqus mentions further down the page):

@avclub-c871d4ba38c83e9b1642f02872f7ef2f:disqus I thought the same thing while re-watching this earlier.  I don't want to sound pretentious here, but it was almost like Skinner and Apu were starting to form a dramaturgical dyad.

The Simpsons tagged the douchebags-driving-Hummers trend almost a decade before it hit really big.

@avclub-ff0b549cff83610dca394e879052d40d:disqus Holy shit.

It was.

I love this whole gag, because you can kind of picture the joke's creation process just from the end result:

When I think of the chase sequence, I now always think that it's one of the few times (that I can recall, at least) that the Simpsons just straight up reused, in a non-clip show, an animated scene from another episode: the bit where Bart is running on grass and looks back over his shoulder is from the 3rd season

@avclub-5a1c0dcc8243c086c74ee944052f6f0f:disqus  There's gotta be something like it in Alberta, at least.

@avclub-f121d09285898f1c66d66f1e6f0455a6:disqus You know, $645 can get you a lot of nitrous…

B is a perfectly acceptable, maybe even slightly generous, grade for this episode.  I'll always give something created/written by Dave Willis the benefit of the doubt, but I agree that this was not spectacular or anything but enjoyable enough to make me want to check it out again.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I felt.

Hell yes.

Wait, I thought Africa already had a horn.

Being transfixed by the absurd is pretty much my thing.

I still watch a new Aqua Teen here and there, but, yeah, I can't remember a single episode I've cared about in years.  That doesn't change the fact that the first few years of the show were great.  Easily one of the best comedies of the early 2000s.
