Chicken and Waffles combined in potato chip form, at last!

Did somebody say…box kites?

Ay ay ay!  Su corazon es grande!  Whoooa!

How long until we see T-Ruffles, the super-gourmet Ruffles with that unique Piemontese taste?  Only $7000 per bag!

@avclub-0304234e5dac07d007cf06c22b3f29c4:disqus Wow.  425F for 40+ minutes for chicken breasts?  That really is a shitty oven.  You could probably cook them faster with direct sunlight and a magnifying glass.

Your new Taste Test Laboratory is just a bar with a toaster oven.

I, too, live in the South and when I saw the Chicken & Waffle chips on a display about 2 weeks ago I was taken out of my usual sense of social etiquette and made a very audible "HAH!" followed by a slightly more toned down "oh FUCK ME".

For what it's worth, I posted a comment on Tuesday's "What's On Tonight?" column that was basically "weird, I figured the Jeselnik Offensive would at least get a mention in the 'What Else Is On' part".

Heh.  Of course, @avclub-4acd793a645f227d84ddb7c4c3f16603:disqus doesn't necessarily have this stuff memorized (we have all have a internet!), but I agree that the temptation to categorize a relatively minor form of entertainment is possibly a little perverse.

Greg Daniels: three good seasons and a decline in quality!

It's true.  Don't suck a dick until you're desperate.

have they learned nothing from Bletchley Park?!

Man.  Adam Brody (wait is that the OC guy?) gets all this love but Mitch Hurwitz gets glossed over like a…glossary?

@avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus Yeah, I kind of have a similar rule.  Yi Yi and In the Mood for Love are two of my favorite films and I assume would look great on Blu Ray, thus the interest in upgrading them - but, eh, the regular Criterion DVDs probably look good enough for me.

Not that you asked me, but I picked up the Blu Rays for Sweet Smell of Success, Days of Heaven, and Week End (Godard).  The first two titles I've owned for a long time, but in the bare bones, cheap non-Criterion versions.

That anvil might be not be so giant when you consider that the list of "other things" is pretty long and varied.  Maybe he's a bookbinder, a fruit dealer, or an epileptic.

C'mon, @avclub-d0cf409eb912cc0cc950b41b6d892d07:disqus , don't you remember?  He was that guy on the show who was caucasian, heavy set, in his 50's, balding and with facial hair!  He was also involved in law enforcement and corruption of said law enforcement.  Kinda had a southern accent?
