I gotta disagree about Pickens vs. Homer.  There's one particular Pickens' scream, which I'll transcribe as "waaaaa OOOH waaa HAAAAH!", which is classic.

The Cartridge Family is pretty much the reason why I eventually bought the Season 9 DVD; especially since, by the time I got it, I had come to realize that my local TV stations were no longer going to be regularly showing episodes from before Season 10 in syndication.

The one that has always stood out in my mind is "Dick Cavett Born", accompanied by a picture of an adult Dick Cavett.

Glad someone else made this point.  After reading the review (why do I still do that?), I could only think that Rabin kept mixing this up with "The Cartridge Family" from season 9.
