Sure, but they want Aaron Paul on this show real bad, don't they?

STUUUUUUUUUUUUUHLBAAAAARG!!!!
I HAVE thought about it, and I think there are way too many layers to both men, both tragic and infuriating, to reduce Chuck to the only bad guy in this scenario. It comes off as juvenile. Everybody yelling Fuck Chuck sound like a bunch of surly teenagers. There's a lot of pain in Chuck's life. I feel for him most of…
No, JIMMY destroyed the relationship. The second he stole those files and committed fraud.
I keep expecting Kim to turn into the Jesse Pinkman of this series.
Oh, I absolutely noticed it! Because Chuck is right! As soon as Jimmy goes to pull the strip the way he wants he fucks it up.
That slatted mirrored ceiling was FUCKING GORGEOUS the way it refracted the logo.
He was very Dick Van Dyke in that scene. Bless him, I hope they give Fabian more little wonderful moments like that.
It was almost as bad as Jimmy telling his client to come on down because he was the next contestant on The Price Is Right.
I got chills as soon as I saw that red sign post. The whole reveal was like a burlesque tease.
I just don't get that reaction at all. Jimmy knows how sacred Chuck holds the law. And he broke it just to get back at his brother (oh, and to "save" Kim, sure). It was a dumbass move as well as illegal. But he expected Chuck to just let that go? Because they're brothers? It's like he hasn't been paying attention. He…
But when Jimmy was trying to watch the guy, Fring steps right into his eyeline, and ours, and I got the feeling the guy dropped the cash on the floor so Gus could sweep it up right into his dustpan. Too obvious?
As many alert commenters pointed out …. Uh, I thought the fact that Chuck staged that move with the tape was blatantly obvious, tipped off by the devilish smile he gave as soon as Ernesto walked away.
I think that's what spoiled the first season for me, too. I absolutely loathed the GR. At least in season two, their plotlines became more intriguing to the action in the show and we got to hear Patty talk.
I was ambivalent about the first season, but glad I gave it another chance. I thought the second season was leagues above the first. Very heartened to hear that they maintain that momentum going into the third and final season. Guess its time for a rewatch!
I seriously laughed for two days over that scene. Peter MacNicol should have received an Honorary Emmy for his reaction to that line alone.
Sorry, Jimmy, but I am here for the Mike & Gus Show. This is a very very good thing from my perspective. As for the regular cast being blotted out by the glare of Gus's sun, the character I am most eager to see burn bright is Nacho. I find him downright fascinating.
I did sort of take the faceless people at, er, face value. I did mention in the post that they are faceless because their families have turned them into non-entities, essentially erasing their worth as human beings. This is definitely how Eddie feels.
I'm still pretty miffed that we did not get one yellow snake sighting this season. That is some straight up bullshit.
The potential is what kills me. I went into season two with this great hope that the show would pull a S2 of The Leftovers and become something really special that would have critics and viewers alike take notice, but that didn't happen, and I'm becoming increasingly suspicious that it never will.
