i'm one of those scoundrels that still enjoys the show a ways until about the time jean steps in so i'd love for them to keep going for a while, if not only to see the shitstorm of differing opinions in the comments

absolutely stellar episode. it's in my top favorite episodes. just such a brilliant no-holds-barred deconstruction of cop, sitcom, and variety shows. most people seem to point out wiggum P.I. as the best one, but smile-time variety is easily my favorite. the i want candy thing is so brilliant. tim conway. the little

the way lisa just needlessly screams it, coupled with her unbridled enthusiasm of them getting beets just cracks me up so much. one of the most underrated simpsons moments of all time. your mom has impeccable taste

Was a devout Conan follower in the 90s but sorta stopped watching in the mid-2000s. I was really following his run because of all that 2010 Late Night NBC nonsense and when he finally returned and went to TBS I planned on following his show again… He can still be a really wacky fun host with a great show and guests,

Can we stop pretending to be nice to new episodes please.

This episode has one of my all-time favorite deleted scenes. When Bart goes down the chute and says "Sorry Monty, but you're too big for this ride!", Smithers goes over to a cardboard cut-out of Milhouse, measures himself, and goes "He's right, sir." Really unnecessary and random, but funny as hell.

Nah, just false hope

Yeah sorry couldn't watch this. I mean come ON the Breaking Bad finale.

It wasn't good, but it was better than most episodes from the last two seasons… so there's that I suppose?

Good thing you turned on that TV, Lisa.
I didn't turn it on, I thought you turned it on.
No.  Well, anyway, turn it off.
It… is off.
*dramatic sting*

YAHOO SERIOUS FESTIVAL
"I know those words, but that sign makes no sense."

"Australia was originally founded as a settlement for British convicts". Lisa, watch your camera. *pans to a bunch of people reaching for it*

What episode is that?

Lucky I was carrying an extra-large piece of the true cross today.

"Oh, lord save me."

I always thought it would be nothing but glory. You know, the glory of being a clown.

Don't know why but I laugh like a madman whenever they're at the graduation and one of them says "This is the happiest day of my life!" and Krusty shocks him.

Should I shoot him gangland style or execution style?

I dunno Bart, my dad's a pretty big wheel down at the cracker factory.

Yeah at least one more appearance by this guy couldn't have hurt. I never get tired of listening to him. Even simple lines like "Ah, without the loop it is-a nothing" are made hilarious by the readings.
