The whole theory of "Jay found the car independently, realized it was Lee's, went to the cops, and then had to help blame Adnan" is pretty compelling to me. It seems like leading the cops to the car is the most useful thing Jay did, because his testimony really looks coached to me. So this theory explains that

And his testimony is pretty unconvincing, IMO — all he really says is that Jay was very paranoid and scared of some people, but that he (the coworker) didn't know who those people were at the time. I got the impression that his identification of these threatening people as Middle Easterners/Adnan only came about after

So, are the Commies happening this year?

I hope this is true, it would make Nadine way more interesting! Although I have to admit I've also been enjoying her as the voice of reason. It's nice to have a female character who hits all three points of reasonable, competent, and very committed to facts, evidence, and truth. Often I feel like female police

It would be amazing! Reconciling the tonal differences would be difficult, but I think doable. At least we'd get plenty of Alicia side-eye at Petra's ridiculousness (regardless of who Alicia was representing). And I'm sure JTV's humor could be compatible with TGW's humor.

But the thing she has to cover up (at least, in how I hear the song by itself) isn't that she wanted to sleep with him, it's that they slept together at all, since staying the night only had the implication of sleeping together. Hence all the lines about her maiden aunt's mind being vicious and so on. So she was

I've always wanted to tell people "Look, here's how you get this song: imagine it's actually taking place in summer. Imagine they look out the window, see a perfectly nice warm night, and immediately close the blinds and keep singing."

Maybe that's where some of Queen Consolidated's millions came from…

I knew a married couple where the wife used to call her husband exactly those variations ("Patrick! Paterick! Putrick!"). It was super cute. but, obviously, that's a totally different thing than what you're talking about.

I mean…it would kind of be a huge giveaway if the Arrow just walked in the front door, because then Thea would be all "Ollie, why did you give your key to a vigilante?" and so forth. Plus the Arrow's MO is that he crashes in through windows, and he has to maintain that so that she doesn't get suspicious.

I was a little surprised by that — Ollie had already seen the Mirakuru and its effects, is mind control that surprising after that?

The salmon ladder will be adopted by Roy. Or will merge with Ray's.

Yes! I loved the dynamic of Felicity saying stupid crushy things and Oliver shutting her down. It was amazing and I want it back.

The whole point of Thea's fight was to show what a rookie she is. She wasn't supposed to be able to hold her own at all, and Oliver was clearly surprised and trying not to hurt her. It wasn't supposed to look good.

I also kind of want the narrator for my life! Just a disembodied Latin Lover voice that helpfully tells me when people are lying or exaggerating. And about their failed drug experimentation.

Just think of Flash and Arrow as a yin-yang, with Felicity and Wells as the two dots.

I remember that group! I…thought it was too gimmicky and never joined.

I kind of agree on the Danny's mom stuff. Like, I was totally blown away by the quality of the show after Mindy and Danny got together, because I was expecting at least a slight drop. I feel like we're starting to get that drop now, though, with Danny's neverending mommy issues. There's still lots of great one-liners,

Yeah, that confused me too. I guess maybe because my idea of a wire is still, uh, a literal wire that people wear under their shirts, and then someone in a van listening in? As the episode went on I realized that you could just hand a CI an audio recorder and they could control it, and that seemed so easy and sensible
