I just replied to this on the other comment, and as I said there, I agree with you on the dining room, but the bedroom is definitely hung with either tapestries or carpets. Must get the set designers in on this! :-)

I think you're right about the dining room - that definitely looks like it is either wallpaper or possibly even a mural/painting that covers the room. Also notice that the dining room looks like it is covered in wood paneling, which would be a better material to apply paper to.
