Yeah, the lack of MODOK and yellow beehive suits kinda took me out of the film.

Didn't Eliza Coupe play a Secret Service agent in Community? Yeah, she'd make a terrific agent of SHIELD.
What, fire breathing and ripping Iron Man suits to shreds in seconds not enough menace for you?
"why not wait for the Veep to be elected to power in the future?"
1) Because Killian was willing to fund a project that had a nasty side-effect of turning the patient into a high-energy incendiary device. I doubt if Glaxo-Smithkline would be so willing to work with something like that.
You forget that in Civil War, Iron Man and pro-registration were supposed to be the "good" side. At least, as far as Marvel, Mark Millar, and Brian Michael Bendis were concerned.
Talk to me again when they debut the Infinity Gems, aka the multicolor studs on a magic space gauntlet.
The problem with the Yellow Peril trope — aside from being completely racist — is that it alienates an extremely large market: China. The studios can handle being offensive, but not to the point of losing out tens of millions of dollars from the very lucrative Chinese market.
Has nothing to do with comic book lore. In Extremis, Aldrich Killian is a middle-aged scientist whose funding gets cut, so he takes a sample of Extremis to a bunch of secessionist terrorists. After that, he kills himself.
Better if AIM and Killian have absolutely nothing to do with The Mandarin, instead having been inspired to create the persona from a distant memory or a terrifying rumor.
I actually had no issues with their Mandarin. Making him as a stooge, a misdirect, was bloody brilliant.
If anything, this episode is a metaphor for the entire season, warts and all.
Honestly, incest knight was totally wasted in this movie. We know he can do better because we've seen him do better for about 3 years now.
Why would the pronunciation of a single word be an issue, when the Doctor's changed accents with each regeneration? Or have we all forgotten about Chris "lots of planets have a North" Eccleston?
He doesn't hate it. He just isn't into the show as much as he thought he would be. But hate is an emotion that he explicitly stated he doesn't feel for the show, even with the brand of comedy we ended up seeing.
Worse; Chang's still insane, and talking to evil Emperor Chang on the other line.
The implication is that most of his stuff were obtained during his filthy-rich gross lawyer days. As for where he gets his current spending money, I believe it was implied that he had a sizable comic book collection that he sold off. That was during the episode where he was living out of his car.
That wasn't the KKK who confronted Tessa, but the football girlfriends.
"unlike sex with Britta, we're gonna do this quickly, and with a small shred of dignity." - Jeff (and Troy) confirming that Britta's a dirty, dirty girl.
I miss quirky deadpan Dalia. Scheme-y plotty Dalia scares me.
