Also, by the time Land Speed Record came out I think Husker Du had already changed their sound quite a bit, so using that as one of the anchors doesn't make a lot of sense.  Theories, who needs 'em?

Right after my daughter was born I watched the MASH episode where they find someone leaves a baby at the hospital with a note asking them to take care of it, and they end up taking it to an orphanage.  Absolutely destroyed me.  Come to think of it, they should do a "Very Special Episode" article about that one.

Of all the 80s/90s alternarockers to reunite in the last few years, I feel like these guys are the ones who just picked right up where they left off.  That was excellent.  I think about the only others to pull it off would be Mission of Burma.

I did not know that, and it makes that scene somehow less funny to me then when I thought it was just entirely random that that was his favorite song to jam out to on air drums.
