Eh, it's not that strange inherently. If you've ever thought "those two characters would work together," you've inadvertently shipped. The intensity with which some people approach it is… odd… but I tend not to care too much about what makes others happy so long as no one else gets hurt.

Not sure what constitutes a really good argument, but here goes.

Adventure Time has only gone to the 22 minute bank once, if I recall correctly (for Holly Jolly Secrets). Usually, I feel like 11 minutes is just right for this show. I Remember You was just about the perfect calibration of that amount of time. I wish this episode was just a bit longer, if only because its breakneck

Agreed. I think it was pretty clearly a moment intended to show that the past version of their relationship is officially kaput, but hey let's not worry TOO much about it because the Lich and stuff. It was all a bit too forced. However, this show has to leap through hurdles to fit its stories into 11 minutes

I like that this episode gave Rashida Jones the chance to be Leslie's comic foil. She was excellent tonight. While I didn't have the same complaints about last season as many did, I did think that, at times, it seemed like the writers weren't sure what to do with Ann, what with Adam Scott more or less taking over the

I completely disagree. Arbitrary drama for the sake of arbitrary drama is the opposite of interesting for me. More importantly, I don't think it'd be true to the show's tone or the characters, which is about as bad a mistake a writer can make.

I actually thought this was the weakest Ben segment so far, although enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm surprised it's the first one you've enjoyed so far. Adam Scott and Aubrey Plaza have splendid comedic chemistry. The "road trip" was probably my favorite B-plot of the season so far, just because every snippet was so damn

Was anyone else reminded just a bit of the Cowboy Bebop episode "Speak Like a Child"?

The plots are junior high school-esque because Finn and Flame Princess are junior high school aged. I'd say it's entirely the point that she's a spoiled teenage girl who happens to have fire powers. That's how this show operates sometimes. Hasn't bugged me at all. To each their own, though. This show's got enough

Can't agree about Flame Princess. She's fun. Not sure how she's gag-worthy. Regardless, comparing her to Marceline isn't quite fair either. Marceline is one of the show's heavy hitters, one they can build an entire episode around. She's empathetic largely because we know her so well, whereas Flame Princess's appeal is
