I remember a year or two ago they went through a time when they had a sign up about how they were out of cake batter ice cream because there was a shortage of the "special ingredient" needed for that flavor. They never said what it was and that made me a little afraid.

I hate the singing thing. I always threaten to get money out to put in the tip jar, ask if they'll sing if I tip them and when they say yes, just turn around and walk away. I never do it. It's more fun to tip them and then leave so that everyone else has to listen to the singing.

@Flashman - I agree, that's why I was curious if it was part of the job or just for fun. I love that you can point something out about an article or ask for clarification and the author will often respond. Or, in some cases, you don't have to ask anything about the article and the author will just make Simpsons…

My problem with Manos
Almost everyone who knows it, knows it from MST3K. It's impossible to evaluate how bad it is or how so-bad-it's-funny it is without taking that into account. The movie can no longer be separated from the jokes made about the movie. We need someone to go in fresh and watch it with a clean slate…
