Josh, thanks for the link.

I don't know, by the time they get done mixing it all up, it's not exactly solid anymore.

DCRJ, while posting the comment, I was trying to remember what food safety scares where about the same time so I could make some joke about it being spinach or lettuce or tomatoes, but it was before any of those recent ones.

Wow, you weren't kidding about the whole "shouldn't be allowed to have opinions" thing earlier in the comments, were you?

CSC Cake Batter
I remember a year or two ago they went through a time when they had a sign up about how they were out of cake batter ice cream because there was a shortage of the "special ingredient" needed for that flavor. They never said what it was and that made me a little afraid.

I hate the singing thing. I always threaten to get money out to put in the tip jar, ask if they'll sing if I tip them and when they say yes, just turn around and walk away. I never do it. It's more fun to tip them and then leave so that everyone else has to listen to the singing.

He could extend this fake-reporter gig
If he goes all out with this alter ego thing a la Chris Gaines, he could write a few articles and then mock any typos on his show.

Tennant
With all the speculation that Tennant may be done as the Doctor (which I sincerely hope is not true), I would like to voice my support for a completely unsubstantiated rumor. I read recently that Tennant had been "mentioned" as a potential Riddler for the next Batman movie. I think that would be wonderful and

@Keith Phipps
"It's a variation on a Christmas favorite, It's A Wonderful Life, only with the total destruction of London in place of Zuzu's petals."

I agree with in fits of print that Harley would be a good way to bring back the Joker without bringing back the Joker.

Elephantmen
I read Wounded Animals not to long ago. It was odd. Stranger than anything I'd read in a while. But I liked it.

Really?
This is a concern for the MPAA? No wonder there seems to be no real logic to the rating system.

@Flashman - I agree, that's why I was curious if it was part of the job or just for fun. I love that you can point something out about an article or ask for clarification and the author will often respond. Or, in some cases, you don't have to ask anything about the article and the author will just make Simpsons

Bring back the live-action The Tick!

Ask the AV Club
Dear AV Club,

Umm…you did get from my suggestion that someone watch it twice, once without and once with the MST3K, that it was a joke right?

My problem with Manos
Almost everyone who knows it, knows it from MST3K. It's impossible to evaluate how bad it is or how so-bad-it's-funny it is without taking that into account. The movie can no longer be separated from the jokes made about the movie. We need someone to go in fresh and watch it with a clean slate

Oh, like I'm going to listen to the crazy conspiracy theories of a guy named "santo;"
