I've really gotten back into "Static Prevails" as of late. Really a unique album.

That's one of my favorite aspects of Sunny Day Real Estate. Right up through Fire Theft they seemed to really evolve and grow in their sound. As great as diary is they refused to do it over and over.
Fuck yeah, one of my favorite of all time. Have you checked out "The Black Sessions" on youtube? It's most of the songs live. Holy crap does it rule.
Concept side, maybe.

Why do I picture "Goodfellas"??
Thanks to people who have to spoil their kids, I often enjoy watching a DVD from the car in front of me while I'm driving down the highway. Half of these kids have screens in the car bigger than the TV I had when I was their age.
Changing actors is actually quite a gambit.
Ever see them in the same place at the same time????
Then there is this:
I would think that anyone who went and downloaded the "free" cover songs and have never heard of the band, then like it and go on to buy an album or concert ticket would constitute the band making a profit off of it…although somewhat indirectly. Still gaining money in the long run.
I thought the Dong Phan was when you wiggle your hips and make your junk move in a circular motion.
Cue up "The Bomber"…..now that's heavy shit.
Actually that's officially an Eagles song….although, yeah, definitely Joe Walsh with a little backing from the band.
That's pretty much widely considered to be Walsh's low point….definitely in the prime of abuse right there. Although there is a youtube of him on Howard Stern playing desperado on a casio that is funny yet sad.
I found 11.22.63 to be a very good read. It has the elements of Stephen King books, but it kind of goes beyond it a bit. Plus I'm kind of a sucker for a good time-travelling yarn. Big book, read it in a few days.
I don't believe that picture is of a band. They are sorely lacking full sleeve tattoos and scowls.
That's OK….This could not be beaten…
New Radicals….doing a medley of their hit.
